    As a wedding coordinator myself, I am intimately aware of the sheer amount of things that need to be decided on for your big day. Don’t let plans for your bouquet be one of the things that you forget.

    We will do our best to accommodate last minute bookings but to avoid that last minute stress, book your date in advance to ensure availability for your wedding weekend.

    Handle With Care

    To the best of your ability handle your blooms as gently as you can throughout your wedding day, keeping them in water when not in use. Bruised & dehydrated blooms will not press as well!

    Ask your coordinator or one of your bridesmaids to assist you with keeping your bouquet in water throughout the course of the day.

    Parting Ways

    Ideally, we want to get your flowers within 24-48 hours because the fresher the flowers the better the end design. We can work with flowers up to 72 hours old but the longer they are left the more flowers will disintegrate, begin to mold, and have a lesser chance of color retention.

    ** At this time we are only accepting local drop-offs. Under certain circumstances, we can accept overnight shipped bouquets. Please reach out before purchasing if you are unable to drop off your flowers in Mt Airy Philadelphia PA. Pick-up will be at the same location!

    Deconstruction // Preservation

    Press it real good! At F&P we use a combination of modern and traditional pressing techniques to preserve your flowers. Each flower is carefully dismantled and monitored closely during the preservation process. This can take up to 8 weeks, and not all of the flowers may end up being used in the final design.

    ** Please note that all flowers will naturally fade over time & this isn’t necessarily a problem! Pressing is not entirely about preserving color, it’s about preserving form and structure.

    Design

    Once your blooms are pressed, they will be transformed into beautiful pieces of art using either the classic, custom or vintage frame or frames that you chose!

    You will be sent two design mockups to choose from, making you a part of your final bouquet preservation design.

  • Step Six

    Pick Up // Enjoy Forever

    Once your frame has been finished, we will reach out to arrange pick-up from the same location where you dropped your flowers off.

    Display in a dry temperature-controlled room out of direct sunlight to ensure you can enjoy your pressed flower piece for years to come.

A word on color retention

** Please note that as we are working with a transient part of nature, we have no control over the color change that will occur with your flowers. Additionally, we can only preserve your flowers in the condition in which we receive them. We strongly urge you to follow our handling instructions for the absolute best results. At this time we are not using color-enhancing agents or chemicals to bring your flowers closer to their original color. If this is a service add-on that you are looking for, we’d recommend finding another local artist who offers a color-enhancing service. 

** It’s important to remember that your flowers are no longer living.. So they will never look exactly as they did on the day of your special event.. and that is okay! We take every precaution to minimize the color variations that will naturally happen; however, we do not guarantee that your flowers will maintain the color and vibrancy that they had when they were living. They will however fully maintain their form and structure.
